Event Management

I have got nothing against the event management people. Actually they are doing wonderful service to the society. Today we can conduct meetings/seminars/exhibitions by entrusting the work to the event management people. We can organize function in any part of the world through the event management people. But now what I am going to tell is the funny side of it.
Mr. X is admitted in the hospital and he is more than 80.
His children are well settled (of course out side India settled). No one is having time to stay with our hero and assist him. One day a neatly dressed person visits Mr. X and introduces him “I am y from ABC event management organization. We have been hired by your children to manage your death and make it an event" our hero gets puzzled and looks at the young man anxiously. The young man continues “we have prepared a press release to be given to the press on the same second of your death. We have praised you, listing all good works done by you and also named the books published by you, in the press relese. given a brief history of you & very elaborated details of all your children ” The old man interprets and says
“No no I am an ordinary man and have lead a very ordinary life. No achievements worth mentioning so far” and requests the young man to kindly help him to have his children by his bed side at the time of death. The event management man tells “do not worry we have arranged the live coverage of your last moments through video conferencing and your children will see them from their end including your funeral”

The other day we had suffered another hartal (2nd one in two week’s time) I wonder whether the event management will undertake the organizing & execution of the next hartal?
