What’s gone wrong?

swantham onam .....

It’s a holy holiday

It’s the Onam day

Keeping the myth of Maveli coming to see his Prajas dwelling happy, every one is

celebrating this festival and happiness is round the corner every where

Even the nature adds to the happy frame of mind

You get flowers of different colors blossomed, spreading fragrance

just to welcome the MAVELI

So it’s the festive mood one would see all these days. yes it’s a holy holiday!

Even though the freshness, happiness, togetherness there in the air, I feel slightly

disgusted (I would like to change the slightly withgreatly as it’s almost unbearable to me)

What’s gone wrong? The scenario was almost typical last YEAR but I was happy then

& really wanted to dash out like every one who kept their mind fresh and focused on the celebrations

The only difference is that this year’s onam sans my friend. Some misunderstanding

crept in and we are miles apart now

Missing a great friend is not easy to express out, it’s something which hurts your heart

inch by inch

Last year's onam is still fresh in my mind and when I think of it now, the loss I suffer

becomes grave and a sense of desperatenessoverwhelms me .

I have been receiving lot of greetings for the onam and I just could not extend

thanks giving messages to the senders. Definitely I want to greet my friends and relatives on this occasion but my mind is not allowing me to do so . .....

I have received lot of messages but not the one which will lift me out of the world

I just could not resist the temptation to wish a HAPPY ONAM to my friend but I am

reluctant to do this either through SMS or through a call

With out wishing my friend on this occasion, I feel like failing in my duty!

So I have decided to say it through this post

DEAR FRIEND – a very happy onam!

I must add I miss you greatly and my mind & heart long to hear you say

“happy Onam”
